At the moment, we do not have a detailed roadmap for the maker. We have come a long way and we are very, very happy with the maker as it is today. However, there is still a lot going on. New featues keep creep at aany given moment and we have a long list of things we would like to implement. Maybe you have a wish list for the maker as well. If so, please let us know.

Some of the new features:
- added support for linked (external) projects they can be on a USB stick webDAV or in your Dropbox (if mounted to your file system)
- now session data regarding files is saved, this means, files that are open when the maker is closed will be reopened at the next start of the maker
- UI settings are saved at the end of the session
- find / replace in current file and across project
- improved code style
- run Python files from within the maker with an interactive shell
- export project as template
- add any file
- it is now possible to use Markdown in maker parts (.content, .foot, .body, .nav)
- other improvements and bug fixes

December 27, 2009 - the maker 1.0

This is a feature complete and stable release. Since 0.9 we have rewritten about 80 percent of the code base and have put a lot of effort into making this application more user friendly.
However, this is not just an improved version, it also has many new features.

Here are just a few:

• editing of multiple files across projects with tabs
• improved tree view for files
• simplified and intuitive interface
• much faster
• delete folders and files from the FTP browser
• and a whole lot more...

• the scrollkeeper; when switching between items the maker remembers the cursor position

November 14, 2007 - Update: maker 0.72

This is a BUGFIX release. In the earlier version there have been the following issues:

• some files in the white template have been named in uppercase thus causing problems on Linux
• if an error occured and the cursor was busy (clock) it remained in that state
• when file creation was cancelled there were errors
• better Linux support, fallback code for older wxPython versions
• when a dynamic was saved it was overwriting the last .content file in the list - FIXED
• fixed bug in FTPBrowser. If the directory that was selected was deeper than one level an incorrect path had been returned

Just a few days after the release of the 0.7 this is now 0.71.
This is a BUGFIX release. In the earlier version there have been the following issues:

• importing files did not work
• the color picker tool did not return a value
• imported files where always treated as binary

- when a new file is created it is automatically selected in the tree

- Upload Queue ! change as many files as you like and then upload them at once. No "make all" needed.

August 25, 2007 - the maker 0.6.93 update

- Fixed bug in RSS Creation. Before the fix the markup became invalid
- Changed code in source markers. Since the comment was above the Doctype declaration.
IE could not handle it. Misinterpreting the whole markup
- Finally fixed bug in Image import
- Error Messages in the log window are displayed with in a new line each
